Once you reach the main road, you can either take a taxi or find a shared minibus (locally called 'Gele-Gele') heading towards Banjul. This area is well-marked, so you should be able to find your way easily.

    After reaching the main road in Bakau, look for a minibus (Gele-Gele) heading towards Banjul. Ask the driver to drop you off at the bus station in Banjul. From there, you will need to catch another minibus heading towards the Bafuloto area. Ensure to clarify with the driver that you are going to Bafuloto, as some buses have different routes.

    Walking from Banjul

    Once you arrive in Bafuloto, you can ask locals for directions to Makasutu. The park is not far from the main road, and most locals are friendly and willing to help. Walk along the main road, and look for signs leading to Makasutu, or continue until you find the entrance to the park.
