Car
If you have access to a car, start by exiting the Bijilo Forest Park from the main entrance. Turn left onto the main road and head southeast. Continue driving for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading to Sukuta. At the junction, turn right. Follow the road for another 2 kilometers, and keep an eye out for the signs indicating Sukuta. When you reach Sukuta, look for the coordinates 97WJ+35M on your GPS or map application. Alasana is located nearby, and you may need to ask locals for the exact entrance if it's not marked.
Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)
To reach Alasana via public transport, first, exit Bijilo Forest Park and head towards the main road. Look for a bush taxi (shared taxi) that is heading towards Sukuta. It's important to confirm that the taxi is going to Sukuta before boarding. The fare is generally around 20-30 Dalasi (GMD). The journey should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Sukuta, you can ask locals for directions to the coordinates 97WJ+35M where Alasana is located. Make sure to have some extra money for small tips if needed.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are up for a walk, after exiting Bijilo Forest Park, head southeast along the main road for about 1.5 kilometers. This route will take you towards Sukuta. Upon reaching the junction with the road leading to Sukuta, you can continue walking for another 2 kilometers. Keep in mind that this walk will take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. Once in Sukuta, refer to the coordinates 97WJ+35M for Alasana.
