Private Car

If you are traveling by private car from the main area of Foni Brefet, head east towards the A1 road. Follow the A1 road until you reach the turnoff for Bakau. Take the exit towards Bakau and continue straight until you reach Atlantic Boulevard. Ngala Lodge is located at 64 Atlantic Blvd. You will find it on your left side. Parking is available at the lodge.

Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)

To reach Ngala Lodge using public transportation, you can catch a bush taxi from Foni Brefet to Bakau. Look for bush taxis marked for Bakau at the local transport station. The ride costs around 20-30 GMD and takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once in Bakau, ask the driver to drop you off near Atlantic Boulevard. From there, it’s a short walk to 64 Atlantic Blvd where Ngala Lodge is located. Be sure to confirm with the driver that you want to be dropped off at Atlantic Boulevard.

Motorbike Taxi (Banjulinding)

Alternatively, if you prefer a quicker option, you can take a motorbike taxi (locally known as 'banjulinding'). Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 100-150 GMD to take you directly to Ngala Lodge from Foni Brefet. The ride is faster, typically taking around 20 minutes. Just ensure to tell the driver to take you to 64 Atlantic Blvd in Bakau.
