    Start your journey in Jarra West by heading towards the main road, which is the Banjul-Basse Highway. Follow the road until you reach the town of Juffureh. From Juffureh, you will need to find the ferry terminal located near the riverbank. Parking is available near the terminal, but be cautious of any parking fees. Once parked, you will need to purchase a ferry ticket to Kunta Kinteh Island, which typically costs around 20 dalasi (D). The ferry ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

    If you prefer public transport, you can take a shared taxi or a 'sept-place' from Jarra West to Juffureh.
