Car
If you are driving from Kunta Kinteh Island, head towards the ferry terminal to cross the river to Juffureh. Once you arrive in Juffureh, follow the road signs towards Tunjina. Continue on this road for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the area marked 7FJ2+5V, Tunjina. Look for signs indicating Pirang-Bonto Community Forest Park. There is no entry fee for the park, but make sure to check for any other local fees for parking.

Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)
From Kunta Kinteh Island, take a bush taxi to Juffureh, which is a common form of public transport. Ensure that you inform the driver that your destination is Tunjina. The fare should be around 20-30 Dalasi. After arriving in Juffureh, transfer to another bush taxi heading to Tunjina. The journey might take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Tunjina, ask locals for directions to Pirang-Bonto Community Forest Park, which is nearby. Expect to pay a small fee for the taxi ride.

Walking
If you prefer walking and are staying near the ferry terminal at Kunta Kinteh Island, you can cross the river by ferry to Juffureh and then proceed on foot to Tunjina. It’s about a 4-5 km walk and should take you roughly 1 to 1.5 hours. Follow the main road towards Tunjina, and make sure to bring bottled water and wear comfortable shoes. This option is free of charge, aside from the ferry fare, which is typically around 15 Dalasi.
