Car
If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Jarra West, head east on the main road (Kairaba Avenue) towards Banjul. Continue straight until you reach the city of Banjul. Look for signs directing you to Free Street. Once you arrive at Free Street, locate the State House at FC4G+F38. There is usually parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply depending on the area.
Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)
For those using public transportation, take a bush taxi from Jarra West to Banjul. These taxis can be found at designated bush taxi stands. Inform the driver that you are heading to Banjul and they will drop you off at the main bus station in Banjul. From there, you can either walk or take another taxi to Free Street. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes. If you opt for a taxi, ensure you negotiate the fare beforehand to avoid any confusion.
Walking from Banjul
If you find yourself in central Banjul after arriving via bush taxi, you can walk to the State House. Head north on Nelson Mandela Avenue until you reach the roundabout. Take the exit onto Free Street and continue straight. The State House will be on your left at FC4G+F38. This walk is roughly 1 km and will take about 15 minutes.
