Car
If you have access to a car, start from the center of Jokadu. Head south on the main road (A1) towards Banjul. Continue on A1 for approximately 20 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Cape Point Beach. Upon reaching the fork in the road just before the beach, take the left turn, which will lead you directly to the beach entrance. There is typically ample parking available at or near the beach.
Public Transportation
To reach Cape Point Beach via public transportation, find a local 'Gele-Gele' (shared taxi) in Jokadu heading towards Banjul. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at Cape Point. The fare should be around 50-100 Dalasi (GMD). The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the fork in the road near the beach, walk a short distance to the left to reach the entrance to Cape Point Beach.
Walking from Public Transport Drop-off
