If you are driving from central Jokadu, head south on the main road towards Kartong. Continue straight for approximately 30 km until you reach the village of Kartong. Look for the signs directing you to Halahin Lodge at the address 465P+6HF. The lodge will be located on your right side as you enter Kartong. Expect to pay for fuel, which can range from GMD 100 to GMD 300 depending on your vehicle and distance.

Public Transportation

To reach Halahin Lodge from Jokadu using public transport, catch a shared taxi or 'sept place' heading towards Kartong. The fare is typically around GMD 50-100 per person. Inform the driver that you are heading to Halahin Lodge. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Kartong, you may need to walk or take a local motorcycle taxi (known as 'boda-boda') to the lodge, which should cost around GMD 20-30.

Walking

If you find yourself in Kartong and need to walk to Halahin Lodge, head south from the main taxi drop-off point on the main road. Continue straight for about 1 km until you see the lodge on your right. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
