Car
Starting from Jokadu, head southeast towards the Banjul highway (A1). Follow the A1 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction for the N1 road towards Farafeni. Take the exit onto N1 and continue for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Bafuloto. Once you reach the village of Bafuloto, follow local signs to Makasutu National Park, which is located at the address 896M+6HC. Expect a small parking fee upon arrival at the park entrance.

From any location in Jokadu, take a shared taxi or 'bush taxi' heading towards Banjul. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Farafeni junction. This ride will cost around 20-30 Dalasi (GMD). After getting off at the junction, look for another bush taxi or a local minibus heading to Bafuloto. The fare for this leg is also around 20-30 GMD. Once you arrive in Bafuloto, ask locals for directions to Makasutu National Park, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the village center. Ensure you have some Dalasi handy for the entrance fee at the park.
