From Kanifing, head west on Kairaba Avenue towards the Senegambia area. Continue straight for about 8 km until you reach the roundabout at the junction with the Brikama Highway. Take the first exit onto the Brikama Highway (B1) and continue for approximately 6 km. Look for the sign for Nyambai Forest Park, which is located on the right side of the road. The entrance is marked, and there may be a small parking fee of around 50 Dalasi. Follow the road into the park, where you can explore the various trails.
Public Transportation
From any location in Kanifing, head to the nearest major bus stop. Look for a 'Geleh' or 'Gambia Transport Service Company' bus heading towards Brikama. Once on the bus, inform the driver or conductor that you are going to Nyambai Forest Park. The fare should be around 20-30 Dalasi. The bus will drop you off at a point close to the park entrance. From there, you can either walk for about 10 minutes along the main road to reach the park entrance or negotiate a short taxi ride, which could cost around 50 Dalasi.
Taxi
