Follow the signs directing you to Banjul. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will reach the junction for Bafuloto. Turn left onto the road that leads into Bafuloto. Continue driving for about 10 kilometers until you see the signs for Makasutu. The exact address is 896M+6HC, Bafuloto. There is usually no toll fee for this route, but ensure you have enough fuel for the trip.

Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)
To reach Makasutu using public transport, find a bush taxi heading towards Banjul from Kiang East National Park. You can catch these taxis from designated pick-up points in the park area. The fare is typically around 50-100 GMD (Gambian Dalasi) depending on your negotiation skills. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Bafuloto. Once you arrive in Bafuloto, you may need to take a short walk or hire a local motorbike taxi (boda-boda) to get closer to the exact location of Makasutu. The boda-boda ride should cost about 20-30 GMD.

If you are already in Bafuloto and prefer to walk, head towards the center of the village and ask locals for directions to Makasutu. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the village center.
