If you are traveling by car within Kiang West National Park, head towards the main park road. Follow the signs directing you to the Banni swamp area. Specifically, from the park entrance, drive approximately 5 kilometers along the main road until you reach a fork. Take the left fork and continue for another 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the GX6R+X2R marker on the GPS; this indicates you are nearing your destination. Parking is available near the swamp area.

Public Transportation
For visitors using public transportation, you will first need to reach the nearest major town, which is Kartong. From there, you can find a shared taxi or a local bus heading towards Kiang West National Park. Make sure to inform the driver that your destination is the Banni swamp area. The ride should take about 30 minutes. Upon reaching the park entrance, you may need to hire a local guide or a motorcycle taxi for the remaining distance to the swamp area, which is about 8 kilometers inside the park. Expect to arrange for approximately 200 Dalasi for the motorcycle taxi.

Walking
If you are already within Kiang West National Park and prefer to explore on foot, you can walk from the nearest campsite. Start at the campsite and head north towards the swamp area, which is roughly a 2-kilometer walk. Follow the marked trails, and look out for signs indicating the direction to Banni swamp. This scenic walk will take you through beautiful landscapes, but ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring along water.
