Car
From Tendaba Camp, head northeast on the main road towards the village of Dumbutu. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers. You will pass through a couple of small villages, so keep an eye out for local traffic and pedestrians. Once you reach the outskirts of Dumbutu, look for the signs indicating Faba Forest Park. The park entrance will be on your left. There is no entry fee for the park, but donations are appreciated to help maintain the area.
Public Transportation
From Tendaba Camp, you can catch a bush taxi (also known as a 'Gele-Gele') heading to Brikama. These taxis usually depart from the main road near Tendaba Camp. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near Dumbutu. The journey usually takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Dumbutu, you may need to walk or hire a local taxi to take you to Faba Forest Park, which is about 5 kilometers from the center of the village. Again, there is no entry fee for the park, but donations are appreciated.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle in Tendaba Camp can be a great way to reach Faba Forest Park. Head northeast on the main road towards Dumbutu, which is a straight route. It's about a 15-kilometer ride, so ensure you are prepared with water and snacks. The park entrance will be on your left as you approach Dumbutu. No entry fee is required, but donations are welcomed.
