Getting There

Car
From Tendaba Camp, head east on the main road (the Banjul - Basse Highway). Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork towards Wubeda. After about 5 kilometers, you'll see a sign for Dumbutu Forest Station. Turn left onto the dirt road and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you reach Dumbutu Forest Station. Be cautious of the road conditions, as it may be uneven.

Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)
From Tendaba Camp, walk to the nearest bush taxi stand, usually located at the main intersection in Tendaba. Take a bush taxi heading towards Wubeda. The fare should be around 50 to 100 GMD. Inform the driver you want to go to Dumbutu Forest Station. Once you arrive in Wubeda, you may need to hire a local motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you the final 2 kilometers to the station. The motorcycle taxi fare should be around 20 to 30 GMD.

If you prefer to walk and enjoy the scenery, from Tendaba Camp, head east on the main road towards Wubeda. This is a long walk, approximately 20 kilometers, so ensure you are well-prepared with water and sun protection. After reaching the fork in the road, take the left fork towards Wubeda, and continue until you reach the sign for Dumbutu Forest Station. Follow the dirt road for about 2 kilometers to your destination.
