Getting There

    From the center of Kombo North (Serrekunda), head east on the Banjul-Serrekunda Highway (A1) for approximately 10 km. Look for the signs indicating Bafuloto and turn left onto the road leading towards Bafuloto. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach the coordinates 896M+6HC, Bafuloto. The entrance to Makasutu is located on your right. Ensure to have some local currency on hand for any entrance fees or parking costs, which may vary.

  • Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)

    From Serrekunda, go to the nearby bush taxi station. Look for a bush taxi heading towards Bafuloto or any taxi that states it goes to the Banjul-Serrekunda Highway. The fare is usually around 20-30 Dalasi. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Bafuloto junction. From there, you can either walk (about 2 km) or negotiate a price with a local taxi to take you to the entrance of Makasutu, located at 896M+6HC, Bafuloto.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Bafuloto, you can walk to Makasutu. From the center of Bafuloto, head towards the coordinates 896M+6HC. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Follow the main road until you see the entrance to Makasutu on your left. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes as some parts of the path may be uneven.
