Car
If you are driving from the main town of Serrekunda, head east on Kairaba Avenue. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the main Banjul highway. Turn left onto the highway and continue for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating Bafuloto and turn right onto a smaller road. Continue for about 3 kilometers and you will arrive at Makasutu, located at GPS coordinates 13.310556, -16.616111.
Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)
To reach Makasutu using public transport, take a bush taxi from Serrekunda to Bafuloto. The bush taxis can be found near the main market in Serrekunda, and you should expect to pay around 20-30 dalasi for the fare. Once you arrive in Bafuloto, you may need to walk or hire a local taxi for the last stretch to Makasutu, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Makasutu.
Local Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a local taxi from anywhere in Kombo South. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Makasutu, located in Bafuloto. The cost for this ride will typically range from 200 to 300 dalasi depending on your starting point. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of Makasutu.
