Walking
From the center of Lamin, head towards the Lamin Lodge. Walk along the main road (Lamin Road) heading east. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Banjul Highway (A1). At this junction, you will see a sign for Bafuloto. Take a left turn onto the Banjul Highway and walk for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see a sign for Makasutu. Follow the sign, and after a short distance, you will reach the entrance of Makasutu. Make sure to ask locals if you need any assistance along the way.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Lamin. Start your journey by cycling towards Lamin Lodge. Once at the lodge, continue along Lamin Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Banjul Highway (A1). Turn left onto the Banjul Highway and cycle for about 2 kilometers. Look for the sign for Bafuloto and follow the direction until you reach the entrance of Makasutu. Cycling will allow you to enjoy the scenic views along the route.

Public Transport
From Lamin, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a 'Gele-Gele' shared taxi heading towards Banjul. Inform the driver you want to get off at Bafuloto. Once you arrive at Bafuloto, ask for directions to Makasutu. It should be a short walk from the drop-off point. Alternatively, you can also ask the driver if they can drop you closer to the entrance of Makasutu, as some drivers may be familiar with the area.
