If you are driving from the central part of the Lower River Region, head towards the Banjul Highway (A1). Follow the signs for Banjul. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit toward Kartong. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the village of Kartong. From Kartong, follow the signs leading to Cape Point Beach, which will be about 5 kilometers away. Make sure to have some local currency for any possible tolls or parking fees at the beach.

Public Transportation (Carriage)
To reach Cape Point Beach via public transportation, find a 'carriage' (shared taxi) at the nearest bus station in the Lower River Region. Inform the driver you are heading to Kartong. The ride should take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Once in Kartong, you can either walk to Cape Point Beach, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the village, or negotiate a fare with a local taxi to take you directly to the beach. Be prepared to pay a small fare for the taxi, usually around 100-200 GMD.
