If you are driving, start from the main town of Janjanbureh. Head towards the Unnamed Road, which is located north of the central market area. Follow the Unnamed Road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see the Slave House on your left side. There is limited parking available near the site.

Public Transportation

To reach the Slave House via public transportation, take a shared taxi or 'Gelli-Gelli' from any major town in the Lower River Region to Janjanbureh. Once in Janjanbureh, you can either walk or hire a local guide to take you to the Slave House, which is about a 20-minute walk from the town center. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the central market; from there, you can easily navigate to the Unnamed Road.
