Car
If you are driving to Tendaba Camp, start from the town of Janjangbureh (formerly known as Georgetown). Take the Banjul–Senegambia Highway (A1) heading east. Continue on this road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Tendaba, which is well marked. Turn onto the access road and follow the signs leading you to the camp. The entire journey should take about 45 minutes, depending on road conditions.
Public Transport (Kekeh or Shared Taxi)
From Janjangbureh, you can catch a kekeh (a type of shared motorbike taxi) or a shared taxi heading towards Tendaba. These can typically be found near the main market or bus station. The fare to Tendaba is usually around 50-100 dalasi per person. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination.
Walking
If you find yourself in the immediate vicinity of Tendaba and wish to walk, navigate towards the riverbank where Tendaba Camp is located. The camp is situated about 200 meters from the main road, and you should see signs guiding you to the camp. This is a pleasant walk if the weather permits.
