Car
From Sandu, head southeast on the main road towards the village of Bafuloto. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you see the sign for Makasutu on your right. Turn into this road and follow it for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Makasutu. Parking is available on site.
Public Transportation
Take a shared taxi or local minibus from Sandu to Bafuloto. The fare is typically around 50 GMD. Upon arrival in Bafuloto, ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Makasutu. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the entrance, or you can negotiate with the driver for a short ride if they can accommodate you.
Walking
If you are already in Bafuloto, you can walk to Makasutu. Start by heading southeast from the village center towards the main road. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the entrance to Makasutu on your left. The walk is scenic, but be prepared for some uneven terrain.
