Starting from the center of Soma, head west on the main road towards the ferry terminal. This road is the main thoroughfare in the town, and you can ask locals for directions to the ferry if needed. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the ferry terminal at the riverbank. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, look for the ferry that crosses the Gambia River to Barra. The ferry runs regularly, and you can buy a ticket at the terminal. After crossing the river, disembark at Barra. From the ferry terminal in Barra, walk towards the main road and head to the northwest direction. Continue on this road for about 5 minutes until you reach Fort Bullen, which is located at the coordinates FFP2+XGW, Barra. You can ask locals for more specific directions if needed, as they will be familiar with the landmark.
