Walking
Start at the center of Soma, near the market area. Head south towards the main road, which is the Basse - Serekunda Highway. Once you reach the highway, turn left and continue walking. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach the junction that leads to Kartong. Take the right turn towards Kartong Highway. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs for The Gambian Reptiles Farm along the way. The farm is located on your right-hand side, just before reaching the village of Kartong.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Soma. Ride south towards the Basse - Serekunda Highway. Turn left on the highway and continue to the junction for Kartong. Turn right onto Kartong Highway. Keep riding straight for about 3 kilometers. The Gambian Reptiles Farm will be on your right, just before you enter Kartong village. It's a pleasant ride with some scenic views along the way.

From the center of Soma, locate the nearest transport station where you can catch a shared taxi or 'bush taxi' heading towards Kartong. Inform the driver that you are going to The Gambian Reptiles Farm. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Kartong, ask locals for directions to the farm, as it is a well-known spot. It is usually a short walk from the drop-off point.
