From Tendaba Camp, head northeast on the main road (Banjul - Barra Highway). Follow the road for approximately 26 kilometers until you reach the junction for Kafuta. Turn left at the junction and continue driving straight for about 6 kilometers. You will then arrive at the coordinates 6H79+RHW, Kafuta, which is the entrance to Bamakuno Forest Park. Ensure to have a map or GPS device handy to assist with navigation.

To reach Bamakuno Forest Park via public transportation, first, take a shared taxi or bush taxi from Tendaba Camp to the nearest town with a bus station, such as Brikama. From Brikama, look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Kafuta. The fare to Kafuta should be around 50-100 Dalasi. Upon arrival in Kafuta, you can walk or hire a local taxi to cover the final distance of approximately 2 kilometers to the park entrance at 6H79+RHW.
