To reach Folonko in Kartong by car from any point in Upper Baddibu, start by heading south on the main road towards the town of Brikama. Continue straight until you reach the junction where the road splits towards the south. Follow the signs towards Kartong. Once you are nearing Kartong, keep an eye out for the GPS coordinates 36RQ+6C7, which will lead you to the exact location of Folonko. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some roads may be rough. Parking is generally available near the site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transport, first make your way to the nearest bus station in Upper Baddibu. Look for a 'Gambia Transport Service' or a local 'bush taxi' heading towards Brikama or Kartong. The fare should be around 50-100 Dalasi. Once you arrive in Brikama, switch to a local bush taxi that is heading towards Kartong. The taxi fare for this leg will be approximately 30-50 Dalasi. Inform the driver that you want to be dropped off near 36RQ+6C7 in Kartong. Once you get off, you may need to walk a short distance to reach Folonko.
