If you are traveling by car from any location in Upper Baddibu, start by heading south towards the main road that connects to the coastal highway. Drive towards the village of Brikama, then take the turnoff towards the ferry terminal at Banjul. Once you reach the ferry terminal, you will need to purchase a ticket for the ferry to Barra (approximately GMD 50-100 depending on vehicle size). After crossing the river, follow the signs towards Makasutu National Park, and then drive towards the coastal road that leads to Jinack Island. The entrance to Jinack Lodge is located close to the shore on Jinack Island. Make sure to park your vehicle at the designated area and follow the signposts to the lodge.

To get to Jinack Lodge using public transportation, first, find a 'gelli-gelli' (shared taxi) or a bus that goes to Banjul from your location in Upper Baddibu. The fare is usually around GMD 20-30. Once in Banjul, you will need to take a taxi to the ferry terminal (approximately GMD 50). Purchase a ferry ticket to Barra. After arriving in Barra, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Jinack Lodge, which may cost around GMD 500-700 depending on negotiation. Confirm with the driver that they know the way to Jinack Lodge on Jinack Island.

Another option is to reach Jinack Lodge by taking a local boat from Barra. After arriving at Barra ferry terminal, you can find boat services to Jinack Island. The boat ride usually costs around GMD 200-300 per person and takes about 30 minutes. Ensure you check the boat schedule for the last return trip, so you don't miss your way back. Once you arrive on Jinack Island, follow the signs to Jinack Lodge, which is located near the beach.
