If you are driving from any location within Upper Saloum, head towards the town of Banjul. From Banjul, take the road towards the ferry terminal for Barra. The ferry ride costs approximately 25 Dalasi per person. Upon arrival on the other side, continue driving towards the village of Kuntaur. From Kuntaur, follow signs for Baboon Island. You may need to park your car near the water's edge and hire a local boat to take you to Baboon Island, which may cost around 200-500 Dalasi depending on the negotiation.
