Car
From any location in Wuli East, make your way to the main road leading towards Basse. Drive towards Basse for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach Basse, follow the signs towards the River Gambia Ferry. Upon arriving at the ferry terminal, pay the ferry fare to cross the river, which is approximately 50 dalasi (cost can vary). After crossing, you will be close to the Baboon Island entrance. From the ferry terminal, you can arrange for a local boat or tour guide to take you directly to Baboon Island.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a 'gelli-gelli' (shared taxi) from Wuli East to Basse. The fare is around 20 dalasi. Upon arrival in Basse, ask for directions to the ferry terminal. Once there, pay the ferry fare (approximately 50 dalasi) to cross the River Gambia. After reaching the other side, you can hire a local boat or guide to take you to Baboon Island.

Walking
If you are already in Wuli East and wish to walk to the ferry terminal, it is advisable to start early in the morning as it can take a few hours depending on your exact location. Follow the main road towards Basse. Once you reach Basse, make your way to the ferry terminal. After crossing the river, you will need to arrange local transportation to Baboon Island.
