Once you reach Basse, follow the signs towards the River Gambia Ferry. Upon arriving at the ferry terminal, pay the ferry fare to cross the river, which is approximately 50 dalasi (cost can vary). After crossing, you will be close to the Baboon Island entrance. From the ferry terminal, you can arrange for a local boat or tour guide to take you directly to Baboon Island.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a 'gelli-gelli' (shared taxi) from Wuli East to Basse. The fare is around 20 dalasi. After reaching the other side, you can hire a local boat or guide to take you to Baboon Island.
