Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Bobonaro. Head southeast on Avenida de Portugal, following the road signs towards Dili. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left path towards Dili. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a bus stop on your right; this is a good spot to ask locals for directions, as they are familiar with the area. Continue walking for another 3 kilometers, passing through small villages and enjoying the local scenery. You'll eventually come to a larger road. Keep following this road as it curves to the right. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Largo de Lecidere on your left. Follow the path leading into the park area.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Bobonaro, walk to the nearest bus station. Catch a bus heading towards Dili; these buses are often marked with their destination. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Dili, get off at the main bus terminal. From the terminal, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Largo de Lecidere. If walking, head southeast on Avenida de Portugal for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn left onto the road leading to Largo de Lecidere. If taking a taxi, simply tell the driver your destination, and they will take you directly to the park.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, begin your journey from Bobonaro by cycling southeast on Avenida de Portugal. Follow the road signs towards Dili, and after about 2 kilometers, take the left fork. Continue cycling for approximately 5 kilometers, enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the way. As you approach Dili, stay on the main road and look for signs to Largo de Lecidere. The park will be on your left after about 1 kilometer into Dili.
