Car
If you are travelling by car, start from the center of Dili. Head east along Avenida de Portugal towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the eastern end of the city. Take the second exit onto Avenida de la Paz, following signs towards Areia Branca. After approximately 3 km, you will see signs for One Dollar Beach on your left. Turn left, and follow the dirt road down to the beach. There is usually no entry fee, but be prepared for possible parking fees or a small charge for beach amenities.

To reach One Dollar Beach using public transport, find a Microlet (shared minibus) heading to Areia Branca. You can catch one at various points in Dili, particularly near the main market. Once on the Microlet, inform the driver of your destination. The trip should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. After arriving at the Areia Branca stop, you will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes towards the beach. Follow the dirt paths down to One Dollar Beach, and look for signs.
