Walking
If you are starting from the Dili International Airport, exit the airport and head southeast on the main road, Avenida de Portugal. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenida Nicolau Lobato. Turn left onto Avenida Nicolau Lobato and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the waterfront area. From there, you can head towards the central area of Dili, where you will find various shops and restaurants.
Walking
If you are near the Cristo Rei statue, start by walking down the hill towards the beach. Once you reach the beach, turn left and walk along the coastline for about 3 kilometers. Follow the path that leads you through the local markets and towards the central area of Dili. You will eventually arrive at the main government office area where Dili is located.
Public Transport (Minibus)
Locate the nearest minibus stop, which can often be found near major intersections or tourist areas. Board a minibus heading towards 'Dili Centro' or 'Governo'. The fare is typically low, around $0.50. Inform the driver you are heading to the central Dili area. Once you reach the main square (Praça de Lecidere), disembark and you’ll be in close proximity to the government office.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the waterfront area and ride along Avenida de Portugal. This road is relatively flat and offers a scenic view of the coastline. Continue until you reach the main intersection at Avenida Nicolau Lobato, where you can turn left. Cycle towards the central Dili area, where you can find the government offices and other attractions.
Walking
If you are at the Timor Plaza shopping center, exit the plaza and head south towards Avenida de Portugal. Walk straight down Avenida de Portugal for about 1 kilometer until you reach the waterfront. From the waterfront, you can navigate towards the main government buildings located a short distance inland.
