Walking
If you are in the central area of Dili, you can start your journey to Monumento Cristo Rei by walking towards Avenida de Portugal. Head east on Avenida de Portugal until you reach the roundabout near the beach. From the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida de la Paz, which leads you towards the coast. Continue walking straight along Avenida de la Paz for about 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the views of the ocean on your left. As you approach the end of the avenue, you will see a large statue on a hill in the distance. Follow the signs leading to Cristo Rei, which will guide you to the foot of the hill.
Public Transport (Bus)
To reach Monumento Cristo Rei via public transport, find a local bus heading towards the Cristo Rei area from the central bus station in Dili. Look for buses labeled 'Cristo Rei' or ask locals for assistance. The bus ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Disembark at the nearest stop to the monument, which will likely be indicated by a sign. From there, it is a short walk uphill to the statue. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return timings.
Bicycle

Cycle along Avenida de la Paz, keeping the ocean on your left. The ride to Monumento Cristo Rei will take about 30 minutes, depending on your speed. As you approach the monument, you may need to walk your bicycle up the final hill to reach the site.
