Car
From any location in Jacó Island, head towards the main road leading out of town. Follow the signs for the coastal road (Route 1) heading east towards Mehara. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the sign for Mehara. Turn left onto the road leading to Mehara. After about 5 kilometers, look for the signs directing you toward Loiquere Beach. The beach is located at coordinates J4PQ+FX. Make sure to park your vehicle in designated areas near the beach.
Public Transportation
Start at the central transportation hub in Jacó Island. Look for a bus that heads towards Mehara. Bus services may vary, so it’s advisable to check the local schedule. The journey to Mehara should take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in Mehara, you may need to take a local taxi or arrange for a motorbike taxi to take you to Loiquere Beach, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting your ride.
Walking
If you are already in Mehara and prefer a more active approach, you can walk to Loiquere Beach from the town center. Head east on the main road and follow the path leading towards the coastline. It is a scenic route, approximately 5 kilometers long, so wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. The walk will take about an hour.
