Follow the signs for Matebian and keep an eye out for the turn-off for Loihuno. Drive approximately 30 km on this road, and then look for a small sign indicating Lou-Huno Waterfall. The final stretch will require navigating a dirt road for about 5 km, which may be rough, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. There is no parking at the waterfall itself, but you can park on the roadside near the entrance.

To reach Lou-Huno Waterfall via public transportation, first take a bus from Dili to Baucau. This journey takes about 4 hours and costs around $5. Once in Baucau, find a local minibus heading towards Matebian Mountain. This will cost approximately $2 and takes around an hour. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the turn-off for Loihuno. From there, you will need to walk approximately 5 km along a dirt path to reach the waterfall.
