Start at the center of Same, near the main market. Head north on the main road, Rua da Paz, until you reach the junction with Rua de Timor. Turn left onto Rua de Timor and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach a sign indicating the way to Nitibe. Take this path and follow it for another 2 kilometers. You will see local houses and may encounter some friendly locals. Keep walking until the road forks; take the right path towards Nitibe. Continue for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the Poto Mud Vulcanoes, which will be marked by a small sign. The total walking distance is approximately 5 kilometers.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the center of Same, using the same route as for walking. Begin on Rua da Paz heading north, then turn left onto Rua de Timor. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you see the sign for Nitibe. Follow the road for 2 kilometers, then at the fork, take the right path towards Nitibe. This route is more suitable for biking, and you will cover the distance of approximately 5 kilometers comfortably. Be cautious of the road conditions as some parts may be uneven.
