Car
If you are driving from the center of Agbodrafo, head east on Route Nationale 1 towards Lomé. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the intersection with Ave 2 Fevrier. Turn left onto Ave 2 Fevrier and continue straight for approximately 1.5 km. The Monument de l'independance will be on your right side, easily recognizable as a large landmark. Please note that parking may be limited, so plan accordingly.
Public Transportation
To reach Monument de l'independance via public transport, take a shared taxi or 'zémidjan' from Agbodrafo to Lomé. The fare is usually around 500 CFA francs. Inform the driver that you are going to 'Monument de l'independance' or 'Ave 2 Fevrier'. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Lomé, the monument is located along Ave 2 Fevrier. You may need to walk a short distance if the taxi cannot drop you off right at the monument.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Ave 2 Fevrier, simply head towards the main road. Walk along Ave 2 Fevrier in the direction of Lomé. The monument is a prominent landmark and should be visible from a distance. It’s a pleasant walk, and you can enjoy the local scenery along the way. Make sure to stay on the pedestrian path for safety.
