Walking
From the center of Aneho, head south on Avenue de la République. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Route Nationale 1. Walk for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass local shops and cafes on your right and left, so feel free to stop for refreshments. Keep walking until you see signs for Agbodrafo. Once you enter Agbodrafo, look for Rue de la Liberté on your left and turn onto that street. Maison des Esclaves will be located on this street, marked clearly with signage.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Aneho. Start from Avenue de la République and head south. Follow the same route as for walking: continue straight for about 1 kilometer to the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Route Nationale 1. Cycle for about 2 kilometers. Be mindful of the traffic, especially as you enter Agbodrafo. Once you reach Agbodrafo, make a left onto Rue de la Liberté. Maison des Esclaves will be on this street. Bike parking is available nearby.
Public Transport (Shared Taxi)
From Aneho, head to the shared taxi station located near the central market. Take a shared taxi heading towards Agbodrafo. The fare is typically around 200 CFA francs. Inform the driver that you want to go to Maison des Esclaves. The journey should take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Agbodrafo, look for Rue de la Liberté and proceed on foot to the museum. It’s only a short walk from where the taxi drops you off.
