Car
If you are driving from the city of Atakpamé, head northwest on the N1 highway. Follow the signs toward Sokodé and continue until you reach the junction with the N20. Turn left onto the N20, heading west. Drive for approximately 50 kilometers, then take a right onto the road leading towards Dodowa. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach Falls Street, where Chenku Waterfall is located. Ensure to have a GPS or a reliable map app for turn-by-turn directions.
Public Transportation
To reach Chenku Waterfall using public transport, start by taking a shared taxi or a bus from the nearest major city, Atakpamé, to the Dodowa area. Look for taxis heading towards Dodowa at the main taxi station. The fare is usually around 500 CFA francs. Once you arrive in Dodowa, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to Falls Street. The taxi fare for this short distance should be around 200-300 CFA francs. Make sure to confirm the drop-off point with the driver.
Walking
If you are already in Dodowa and close to Falls Street, you can walk to Chenku Waterfall. From the main market area in Dodowa, head south towards Falls Street. It is about a 15-20 minute walk. Follow the local signs pointing toward the waterfall, or ask locals for directions if you get lost.
