Getting There

Walking
From the center of Kpalimé, head south on Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de Kpalimé to Agou. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenery along the way. Once you see signs directing you towards Mount Agou, take the left fork that leads towards the mountain. Continue walking until you reach the base of Mount Agou, where you can begin your hike up the peak.

Bicycle
Start at the Kpalimé market and head south on Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers to the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Route de Kpalimé to Agou. It’s around a 5-kilometer ride before you see signs for Mount Agou. At this point, take the left fork towards the mountain. Park your bicycle at the base of Mount Agou and prepare for your hike up!

Motorbike Taxi
From Kpalimé's central market, find a motorbike taxi (called 'zemidjan'). Tell the driver you want to go to Mount Agou. The ride will take about 15 minutes. The driver will take you along Avenue du Général de Gaulle, through the roundabout, and onto Route de Kpalimé to Agou. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the base of Mount Agou where you can begin your hike.
