    If you are traveling by car, start from the main town in the Oti River Valley, Niamtougou. Head south on the N1 highway towards the town of Sokodé. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit towards Likpe Bakwa. Follow the signs to Likpe Bakwa, which is about 15 kilometers from the highway. Once you reach Likpe Bakwa, look for local signs directing you to cascade de Yikpa, which is located at GPS coordinates 7.105978, 0.610008. Parking is available near the entrance.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a shared taxi or bus from Niamtougou to Sokodé. This journey typically costs around 1,500 CFA francs and takes about 1 hour. From Sokodé, you can catch a bush taxi heading towards Likpe Bakwa, which will cost an additional 1,000 CFA francs and take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Likpe Bakwa, ask local residents for directions to cascade de Yikpa, which is about a 20-minute walk from the town center.
