Getting There

Car
Start your journey from Atakpame, the capital of the Plateaux Region. Head north on Route N1 towards the town of Kpalimé. After approximately 30 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Mount Afadja. Follow the signs, turning onto a smaller road that leads directly to the mountain. The drive should take around 45 minutes. Once you reach the base of Mount Afadja, you can park your car in designated parking areas. Be sure to carry cash for any entrance fees, which may cost around 2,000 CFA francs.

From Atakpame, take a shared taxi (known as a 'clando') towards Kpalimé. The fare will be around 1,000 CFA francs per person, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Kpalimé, switch to another shared taxi heading towards the village of Afadjato. This ride will cost approximately 500 CFA francs and should take an additional 20-30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the base of Mount Afadja. Be prepared to pay a small entrance fee of about 2,000 CFA francs at the entrance.
