If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Kpalimé, which is about 20 kilometers from Mount Agou. Head southeast on the N1 road towards Agou. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Mount Agou. Follow the road until you reach the base of the mountain. There is a parking area available for visitors. Please note that road conditions may vary, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain.

Public Transportation
To reach Mount Agou using public transportation, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Kpalimé to Agou. The taxi-brousse station is located near the central market in Kpalimé. Once you arrive in Agou, you will need to hire a motorcycle taxi (zemidjan) to take you to the foot of Mount Agou. The motorcycle taxi ride will cost around 1,000 to 2,000 CFA francs. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

Once you reach the base of Mount Agou, you can begin your hike. The trails are well-marked, but it's advisable to hire a local guide for a better experience and to ensure safety.
