Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Kpalimé. Head south on the N1 road for approximately 20 km. Look for signs directing you towards Mount Agou. After about 5 km on the dirt road, you will reach the base of Mount Agou. Parking is available at the trailhead.
Public Transportation
To reach Mount Agou by public transportation, take a shared taxi or a bush taxi from Kpalimé to the village of Agou. The fare is about 1,500 CFA francs. Once you arrive in Agou, you can either hike to the base of the mountain (approximately 3 km) or hire a local guide who can lead you to the starting point of the hiking trail.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the base of Mount Agou, you can start your hike. The trail is well-marked, but it's advisable to have a local guide for the best experience.
