Getting There

Walking
From the main village of Pātea in Eua, start by heading south towards the coastal road. Follow the signs leading to the beach. Once you reach the coast, turn left and walk along the beach road. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the road leading to Fua'amotu. At this junction, you will see a sign indicating the direction to Hufangalupe. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, keeping an eye out for the local landmarks along the way. Hufangalupe is located on your right side, just after you pass the small local market.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Pātea. Start your journey by riding south along the main road towards the coast. Once you reach the beach, turn left and bike along the coastal road. Continue straight until you reach the junction where you can turn towards Fua'amotu. Follow this road, which will take you closer to Hufangalupe. It's about a 20-minute bike ride from Pātea, and you will notice the scenic views along the route. Hufangalupe will be on your right, just past a small market area.

This route may take about an hour, but the views are definitely worth the effort.
