If you are staying in Ha'apai, start from the central area of Lifuka. Head south towards the ocean, following the coastline. Continue walking along the main path until you reach the local market area in Pangai. From Pangai, take the path leading east towards Niutoua. Keep walking straight for about 3 kilometers until you see the sign for Maka Fa'akinanga on your right. The landmark is located at VX72+PR9, Niutoua.
