If you are in the main village of Ha'apai, start at the local market in Pangai. Head southeast toward the main road leading out of Pangai, which is called 'Pangai Road'. Continue along this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left path, which is the 'Mu'a Road'. Follow Mu'a Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the village of Mu'a. Look for the signs that point towards historical landmarks, as Paepae o Tele'a is one of them. The landmark is located at RVGM+2CR in Mu'a. You will find it near the coast, so keep an eye out for the water as you approach. The site will be on your right as you get closer to the beach.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Pangai. Start from the center of Pangai and ride southeast on 'Pangai Road'. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the fork.
