Turn left onto Taufa'ahau Rd, and continue driving for approximately 5 minutes. You will see the Ha'amonga 'a Maui Trilithon on your right side, just off the road. There is parking available nearby.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can catch a local bus that operates between Hunga and Niutoua. Buses typically depart every hour from the main bus stop in Hunga. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Ha'amonga 'a Maui Trilithon stop or the nearest stop along Taufa'ahau Rd. The bus ride should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you get off, it's a short walk to the Trilithon, which should be clearly visible from the road.

Walking

If you prefer to walk, from the center of Hunga, head southeast along the main road towards Niutoua. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers and will take about an hour. Follow the road signs towards Niutoua, and as you approach the area, look for signs directing you to the Ha'amonga 'a Maui Trilithon. The Trilithon is set back slightly from the main road, but you will be able to see it as you get closer.
