If you have a rental car, start your journey from the main town of Neiafu. Head south on the main road (Tonga Highway) towards Fua'amotu. Continue driving for approximately 45 minutes. As you approach Fua'amotu, look for the signs directing you towards Hufangalupe. The location is marked QR85+VMW on Google Maps. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Hufangalupe via public transportation, you can take a local bus from Neiafu to Fua'amotu. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station in Neiafu. The fare is around T$5. Once you arrive in Fua'amotu, you may need to take a short taxi ride to the bridge. Taxis are available at the bus station and will charge approximately T$10 to T$15 for the ride to QR85+VMW.
Walking
If you are already in Fua'amotu, Hufangalupe is accessible by walking. From the center of Fua'amotu, head towards the coastline, following the local paths. The bridge is about a 20-minute walk from the village center. Be prepared for some steep inclines as you approach the bridge, and ensure you have comfortable footwear.
