Start at the center of Kolovai. Head south on the main road, Taufa'ahau Rd. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Niutoua. Look for the signs pointing towards Ha'amonga 'a Maui Trilithon. Turn right at this intersection and follow the road for another 1 kilometer. The trilithon will be on your left. Look for the large stone structure, which is hard to miss.

If you have a bicycle, start from Kolovai and head south on Taufa'ahau Rd. Stay on this road for approximately 3 kilometers. At the intersection with the road to Niutoua, take a right turn. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. The Ha'amonga 'a Maui Trilithon will be on your left side, marked by its impressive stone archway.
