If you are driving from Kotu, head south on Kotu Rd until you reach the intersection with Vuna Rd. Turn right onto Vuna Rd. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction with Tamakautonga Rd. Turn left onto Tamakautonga Rd. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see Ancient Tonga on your right at the address VR4M+F26, Nuku'alofa. Ensure you check for parking availability nearby.

To reach Ancient Tonga using public transportation, find the nearest bus stop in Kotu. Take a bus that heads towards Nuku'alofa. The fare is typically around 2-3 TOP (Tongan Paʻanga). Inform the driver that you are heading to Tamakautonga Rd. Once you arrive in Nuku'alofa, disembark at the closest bus stop to Tamakautonga Rd. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km) to Ancient Tonga. Walk east on Vuna Rd, then turn left onto Tamakautonga Rd and continue until you reach your destination.
